This radio show was a pandemic baby. Born in the back room of my house in the spring of 2020, it spent its youth as a recorded show. It was a bit coddled, to be honest. All mistakes were edited out, all transitions between tracks smoothed, all filters and compression carefully applied.
But now, it’s time for the show to leave the nest and test its mettle in the real world. In this case, that means it will be done live and in-studio at KSER’s Everett station. It will be a full-fledged radio show, with an adrenaline-filled DJ in a tiny, stuffy studio flubbing lines, dealing with technical issues, and playing great shit while living in the same moment as his listeners.
So starting November 1, the only radio show in the Pacific Northwest playing vintage synth, space, and new age music from the 70s and 80s will be back every Friday night—live and in-studio most weeks—from 10:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Can’t wait to see you all there.
